There are many reasons why anybody would like to have a small wedding. Having a wedding is a huge stress for any bride and groom small or big but a smaller wedding is less of a stress. Another reason is that a larger wedding has more cost then a smaller wedding and this is another reason why many couples choose to have a small wedding.

If you ask any couple that has had the experience of having a big wedding what they would have changed if they could have and many times the answer will be the size. You should always consider wedding favors from time to time. Many people that plan their weddings do it in hopes that it will be small however they have no idea how to make this happen.

One of the things that can cause a wedding guest list to get out of control is family pressure. To avoid this you could pick a place to have the wedding that can only accommodate few people. When you have a smaller wedding everything doesn’t have to be elaborate and expensive. You will be at ease more rather then if you have chosen to have a big wedding.

Having a wedding is based on intimacy and by having a smaller wedding make this a lot easier for the bride and groom to do, which is like wedding gifts. Exchanging vows in front of many guest that you do not know can be harder then doing it in front of a smaller crowed that you know well.

Another way that is great to cut your wedding down to size is to have it on a day that is inconvenient for many people. A good example of this would be having your wedding date to be during the week, many people need to work and only your closest relatives and friends will end up showing up. This is typical of most wedding ideas. Also another good idea is to book your wedding date a day before or a day after an important holiday this is when most people a busy with other plans.
